Getty Unshuttered

Projection Mapping Takeover at the Getty

Overview

Produced by the Getty Museum in Los Angeles, Getty Unshuttered is a positive community for teen photographers to share their unique view of the world, grow their skills, and build their portfolios. In 2018 and 2019, we collaborated with the Getty team, Mike Patterson, and USC Animation students to create an event to celebrate the Getty Unshuttered photographers and highlight their work. This included designing and animating visuals, projection mapping onto the Getty’s facade, and creating an interactive installation where participants dance to create their own works of art.
